The Brehon Brewery and Farm gives visitors a sense of being steeped in Irish culture and history. The Brehon Laws, which ruled mediaeval Ireland and stipulated that every clan was permitted to make beer for their own family, inspired the name of this brewery. The Brehon Brewhouse brand incorporates all of this rich history.
Brehon Brewhouse, based in Co. Monaghan was created by Dairy Farmer Seamus McMahon, who sought to diversify his farm by drawing inspiration from the area’s rich literary and family heritage. Craft beer fans will enjoy an immersive experience at Brehon Brewhouse, which includes a visit to the milking parlour. Visitors can see the master brewer and his apprentice at work, providing a unique experience for craft beer fans.
