Castletown, Ireland’s first and largest Palladian-style mansion, is located on the banks of the River Liffey, just 20 kilometres from Dublin City Centre. Tours of the house are available every day. From mid-March to the 4th of November 2018, visitors can take a guided or self-guided tour of the house. Visit the website for information on tour times and entrance fees. The restored 18th-century parklands are available every day of the year and are free to see. Children’s art and craft classes, music performances, parkland tours, nighttime concerts, and ‘Family nights’ in the Courtyard Cafe are all part of the extensive activities calendar.
