Glendeer Pet Farm is an award-winning open farm where you may pet infant animals including bearded dragons, chicks, bunnies, and guinea pigs and have a unique, engaging experience.
Children also receive a sack of food to feed goats, lambs, emus, donkeys, cows, llamas, and other farm animals. You may even get up and personal with some of the more exotic creatures, such as the mischievous monkeys George and Gina, the wallabies, parrots, and meerkats!
It’s a safe and carefree atmosphere for kids of all ages, whether they want to play in the outdoor or indoor playgrounds or interact with the farm’s numerous animals. From the zipline, double obstacle course, and maze for the older kids to the fairy path, new hobbit town, sand barn, and soft play area for the younger ones, there is truly something for everyone. Don’t let the weather deter you; we’ve got some of these and more covered spaces tucked away for those wet days!
The unspoiled quiet nature walk is part of a historic mass trail that appeals to the young and elderly alike. The many fairy doors and toadstools that have appeared along the route enchant children, and they are overjoyed to discover the new hobbit town at the start of the journey. There are several lovely woven willow homes, different hobbit dwellings, a swing, tight rope, and a few more surprises to be found there. Enjoy a peaceful stroll in the countryside while viewing a diverse array of animals and birds. Glendeer Pet Farm is the place to go if you’re seeking a different kind of stroll.
Visitors are invited to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it in one of the many designated places (inside or out); however, be aware that some of the friendly hens may join you! On-site, there is also a coffee shop that serves light refreshments and gifts.
