The course, which was completely rebuilt in May 2005, is currently considered one of Ireland’s finest mature parkland courses, with mature trees and several water elements. With a par of 72, the course is about 6700 yards long. While the par-5 18th is the hallmark hole, with a watery approach to the green, there are several more noteworthy holes.
The course, which overlooks Longford, offers excellent panoramic views of the town and surrounding countryside. The pro shop is well supplied, and trolley and buggy rentals are available. The beautiful clubhouse also has a superb bar, with John Ferrick providing cooking. Pete Duignan, the club’s professional, offers golf lessons. Please pay us a visit. You can expect a kind greeting and, perhaps, a wonderful game of golf.
