During Heritage Week in September 2005, Carlow County Council purchased Duckett’s Grove and began the renovation of two interconnected walled gardens. Duckett’s Grove’s surviving towers and turrets provide a lovely profile even in ruins, making it one of the most photogenic historic buildings in the country.
Duckett’s Grove Walled Gardens and Pleasure Grounds
Duckett’s Grove was the Duckett family’s house in the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries.
