A virtual tour of 18th century Waterford, replete with the sights, sounds, and even scents of the city streets and houses, is one of the many intriguing aspects of this modern museum.
One of the museum’s attractions is a facsimile of Edmund Rice’s face. Thanks to the miracles of modern science, visitors to the facility may travel back in time and encounter a laser-generated picture of Blessed Edmund’s head made of resin, paint, and clay. There’s also a life-size replica of his bedroom and a typical classroom where he spoke.
