The structure has an outstanding collection of sculptures carved in local hard limestone from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, including one of St Francis himself showing the stigmata. A magnificent picture of Christ with his wrists tied may be found on an arch between the nave and the transept.
Remember to pay a visit to the sacristy, which features a ribbed, barrel-vaulted ceiling. Take special note of the lovely east window, which illuminates the chancel with its five lancets.
