The National Maritime Museum of Ireland is situated in a former church built in 1837 that was mainly visited by seafarers until an agreement between the Church of Ireland and the Maritime Institute of Ireland took place. Nowadays you can find many old maritime related objects including old lighthouse equipment and some artifacts recovered from wrecks.
