Your task is to navigate 1.5 acres of hedge bordered trails to the maze’s central observation tower. You’re certain to get lost among the nearly 2km of trails, but you’ll have a great time trying to find your way back. Appreciate panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and counties from the viewing tower, or simply enjoy the view over the maze as it reveals its pattern. The design was inspired by St. Brigid, the patron saint of Kildare, and has the St. Brigid’s cross set inside four quadrants, with the cross’s centre serving as the maze’s centre.
Kildare Maze
The biggest hedge maze in Leinster is a fantastic sight situated outside of Prosperous in the North Kildare countryside.
