Marcus and Julie Magee, husband and wife, sowed the germ of Rural Adventure when Marcus, who grew up in rural Ireland, embarked on his many years of travelling across the world. Here he discovered his passion for meeting new people and sharing exceptional experiences. When he came home, he set out to create a firm that would combine the energy he had felt on the road with his love of Ireland, its music, and its natural beauty. When Julie, whom he met while travelling, returned to Ireland with him to start a family in 2015, Rural Adventure Tours was born.
