The only completely licenced zoo and wildlife park in the Southeast is Secret Valley, Wildlife Park. Ann O’Connor founded the initial farm in 2007, and it has developed steadily since then. From the minute a visitor enters the grounds, Ann and her staff’s love for the animals and the environment is palpable.
The park’s rich history has been included in Ireland’s Ancient East, which you can learn more about here.
The Park has lots of opportunities for growth and is developing, with fourteen sections of lovely countryside. Monkeys, raccoons, lemurs, rabbits, goats, donkeys, horses, alpacas, llamas, guinea pigs, prairie dogs, skunks, and other species may be found in the Wildlife Park. There is much to do and see in the park, with 40 different species totalling 200 creatures! There are several activities available, including horseback riding, arts and crafts, quad biking, feeding baby goats, treasure hunts, and more.
