At The National Reptile Zoo, we think that seeing some of these beautiful creatures in person is the best way to really appreciate them; and we’ll offer you the opportunity to do exactly that!
We conduct animal encounter sessions every day, typically every hour during our busiest periods and less often throughout the rest of the year. However, we want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to handle or touch some of our scaly companions!
All of our animals are “ambassadors for their species,” which means they are kept here to help you appreciate the condition of some of these creatures in the wild, as well as how essential they are to our environment.
