During the 18th and 19th centuries, millions of Ulster people went on dangerous journeys to start new lives in the New World. Ulster American Folk Park is a recreation of an incredible voyage.
Explore the well-worn paths of rural Ulster, which are lined with real businesses and structures. Step onboard the Brig Union ship and embark on a journey to the New World, where you’ll be able to marvel at life on the American frontier.
Enjoy the exhibit buildings, but stay a safe distance from the other visitors. Every day, from forge work to wool spinning, grass cutting to willow weaving, woodcraft to patchwork quilting, you’ll see demonstrations of traditional crafts. Take a stroll through the herb garden to learn about traditional herbal treatments. When you arrive, ask a member of the Visitor Team for additional information about the daily demos.
